If multicoloured straps aren't your thing then these ones are quite nice. I always go for the ones with a supplied button strap otherwise you'll be spending more than you need too. Leather and linen works well on a strap too – at these prices there is no need to get faux leather. Ties at to the head which is my preference rather than two strap buttons on the body. -
I recommend using a strap to keep your ukulele in position whilst you are playing. I don't use a strap myself but learning and not having one is difficult and may hinder your technique. I recommend this ukulele strap if you like natural materials and it includes a strap button which you'd have to purchase separately otherwise.
