U-Turn on Route 66

Rock, Blues and something a bit funky for pubs, clubs and functions

If you are looking for a good mixture of rock, blues and music to dance to at your function then that’s what we do.

Formed by Neil Rigby (lead guitar) and Chris Bampton (vocals/rhythm guitar) with Tim Veysey-Smith (vocals/blues harp) – all of us regulars at the Gun & Spitroast Wednesday jam sessions. Playing at least six songs each week with many new ones, we have accumulated a large repertoire of songs. We debuted as U-Turn at Marden Village Club on 22nd September 2018.

We have regular rhythm sections we use and play with weekly and we often have guest musicians featuring on some of our songs to add a bit of spice to them.

We are currently honing up our set list and play rock, blues and pop covers. We also offer a U-Turn Blues Band if rhythm & blues is your thing. Generally we play two sets – the first to listen to and the second to dance to.
