The coldest gig ever!
I was invited to play over at the Isle of Sheppey on the occasion of Paul Whitehead’s birthday. On the upside there was an outdoor stage, plenty of musicians I’d played with before as well as a fantastic spread of food and drink. On the downside we had some really cold weather blowing off the North Sea after it had rained! I don’t think anyone there had ever played in such cold conditions and I would have played in gloves if that had been possible!
I played with Lewis and Paul from Jam Night, and we were joined by Charlie Scholfield and another guitarist.
